Sheri photo_resizedCreative Manipulations was created to feature crafty and creative projects of Sheri, a wife, Mom, cat lover and physical therapist who loves to “manipulate” things–from paper, textiles, fibers, and  coloring mediums of all kinds. Sheri resides in Arizona with her husband of 30 years.  Sheri has two grown up kids, one lives close by, the other has moved to the Midwest.  Assisting in the creative inspiration process with their crazy cat-a-tonic contortions is the extended family of feral cats who reside in the backyard and guard the yard  from pigeon, spider and scorpion invasions.

Crafting and creating have been a lifelong obsession, from knitting learned at an early age while growing up in the Midwest to later sewing, needle crafts of all sorts and finally progressing to paper arts because those crazy kids simply refused to wear matching hand smocked outfits created by dear ol’ Mom. As long as there is “something” to manipulate like stamps, die cuts, inks, paints etc and the creative process can be continued, one’s sanity is assured.  The process of “manipulating” is of course therapeutic, while the end result is hopefully, creative!
