Monster Mash Up

The Pazzles craft room has thousands of design files and a special group of these are called project patterns. Project patterns are made specifically to work in the InVue software, which is a software specifically developed for the Pazzles Inspiration die cut machines. The project patterns are easy to manipulate to create several design elements quickly and be able to cut and assemble easily.

Recently, I have been helping a special education teacher friend of mine with art projects for her students. We recently discussed a book her class was going to be reading around Halloween, about monsters. Pazzles has a ” Make a Monster” pattern in the project patterns. The monsters pictured here were created by the  students, on bookmarks. Using the project pattern I cut a variety of bodies and parts out of printed and solid card stock. I presented my friend with the cut pieces, organized by type, to make the classroom project easier to handle. No monster could be created without a few “googly eyes” !

My friend sent me this photo of the monsters and book marks created by her class, remarking that the students  loved doing the project, they were able to concentrate on the task, have fun and have a new bookmark!  I have become the class “Art Angel” and already have their Thanksgiving project cut and ready for them to create. I encourage any of my crafty friends to become an “Art Angel” for a teacher they may know. Our teacher’s have a huge job and need all the help, respect and kindness we can offer them.
